Description

Qualitative research often produces large volumes of interview transcripts, focus-group discussions, field notes, documents, and open-ended responses. Analysing these materials manually can become difficult, inconsistent, and time-consuming. This practical NVivo course teaches researchers how to organise, code, analyse, visualise, and report qualitative data systematically. Participants will learn how to create an NVivo project, import different forms of data, develop coding frameworks, generate themes, explore relationships, run queries, and create visual outputs. The course will also explain the analytical thinking behind qualitative coding. Learners will understand that NVivo supports analysis but does not replace the researcher’s interpretation. By the end of the course, participants will be able to complete an organised and transparent qualitative-analysis workflow suitable for a thesis, dissertation, research paper, or professional project.
