Welcome to Think Lab Academy. These Terms and Conditions explain the rules that apply when you visit our website, create an account, purchase a course, attend a live class, watch a recorded class, submit an assignment, or use any other service offered by Think Lab Academy.

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before using our website or purchasing any course. By using the website, creating an account, or completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.

If you do not agree with these Terms and Conditions, you should not use our website or purchase our services.

Think Lab Academy is an online learning platform that provides live classes, recorded courses, educational materials, workshops, training programmes and other learning services for students, teachers, professionals and other learners.

Our courses cover subjects such as research skills and research design, statistics and data analysis, programming and software tools (for example R), artificial intelligence, academic writing, and other professional or technical topics.

In these Terms:

You must be at least 18 years old, or have reached the age of legal majority in your country, to create an account or purchase a course independently.

If you are under 18 years of age, you may use the website or purchase a course only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. The parent or guardian will be responsible for the account, payment and use of the course.

We may ask for reasonable proof of age or of guardian consent, and we may restrict access where this is not provided.

By creating an account or making a purchase, you confirm that the information you provide is true, accurate and complete.

Some courses and services may require you to create an account.

Purchasing a course does not guarantee any particular academic result, examination score, employment, promotion, income or professional outcome.

Live classes will normally be conducted according to the schedule shown on the course page or communicated to registered learners.

We may change the date, time, instructor or delivery platform of a live class where reasonably necessary. We will try to provide advance notice through the website, email, SMS, telephone or other available communication method.

Live classes may be delivered through third-party tools such as video-conferencing or messaging platforms. You may need to accept the relevant third party’s own terms in order to join a class.

Live classes may be recorded for teaching, quality and record-keeping purposes. By joining a live class you accept that your display name, voice, camera image, chat messages or questions may be captured in the recording and may be shared with other learners of the same course or batch. Please inform us before the class if you do not wish to appear on camera.

A learner who misses a live class is not automatically entitled to:

Where available, we may provide a recording of a missed live class. However, we do not guarantee that every live class will be recorded or made available afterwards.

A transfer to another batch, a deferral or an extension may be allowed at our discretion, and a reasonable administrative charge may apply.

Learners must behave respectfully during live classes. Harassment, abusive language, disruption, unauthorized promotion, discrimination or inappropriate conduct may result in removal from the class without a refund.

Recorded courses may be available for a fixed period, for the lifetime of the course, or for another access period stated on the course page.

“Lifetime access,” where offered, means access for as long as the course remains available on the Think Lab Academy platform. It does not mean the lifetime of the learner and does not guarantee that the course will remain available permanently.

Recorded lessons are provided through personal, limited and non-transferable access. Users are not allowed to download, record, copy or redistribute lessons unless a download option or written permission is specifically provided by us.

Course prices will be displayed on the website or communicated through our authorized sales channels.

Prices may be shown in Bangladeshi Taka or another stated currency. Applicable taxes, transaction fees or payment charges may be added where required.

Payments may be accepted through mobile financial services, cards, banks, payment gateways or other payment methods approved by us. Payments are processed by third-party payment providers, and their own terms may also apply to the transaction.

You are responsible for:

A course purchase is confirmed only after we successfully receive or verify the payment.

We may change course prices at any time. A price change will not affect a purchase that has already been successfully completed.

Discounts, promotional codes, scholarships and special offers may be subject to additional conditions and may be changed or withdrawn at any time before purchase.

All course purchases are final. Once payment has been completed, no refund, exchange, cancellation or transfer will normally be provided.

However, Think Lab Academy may provide a refund or another reasonable solution where:

Where we clearly publish a specific refund or cancellation window for an individual course, subscription or programme, that published condition will apply to that purchase instead of this general no-refund rule.

A refund request must be submitted to support@thinklabacademy.org with the learner’s name, registered phone number, course name, payment date, transaction reference and proof of payment if requested.

We review each refund request individually and may ask for additional information to verify eligibility. Any approved refund will normally be returned through the original payment method or another method selected by us, and will usually be processed within 14 business days. The time taken for the money to reach you also depends on your payment provider. Payment-gateway fees, bank charges or transaction costs may be deducted where legally permitted.

Nothing in this section removes any right that cannot legally be excluded under the laws of Bangladesh, and where the law gives you a right to a refund, repair, replacement or cancellation, that legal right will apply.

If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us first at support@thinklabacademy.org so that we can try to resolve the matter.

Raising a chargeback or payment dispute without first contacting us, or making an improper or fraudulent chargeback, may result in suspension or termination of your account and course access. We may also recover reasonable costs and charges caused by such a dispute where legally permitted.

If you join Think Lab Academy as an instructor, teacher, trainer or content partner, these Terms apply to you in addition to any separate instructor, revenue-share or engagement agreement.

Commission, revenue share and payouts are paid on the terms and schedule agreed with you and shown in your instructor account. We may withhold or adjust a payout where a payment is reversed, refunded, disputed or found to be fraudulent, or where a course was delivered in breach of these Terms.

Some courses may include assignments, tests, attendance requirements or certificates.

A certificate may be issued only when the learner satisfies the stated requirements. These may include:

Unless clearly stated otherwise, a Think Lab Academy certificate is a certificate of participation or course completion. It confirms only that you completed the relevant course requirements on our platform. It is not necessarily an academic degree, government qualification, professional licence or guarantee of employment.

We do not guarantee:

We may refuse or cancel a certificate obtained through cheating, impersonation, account sharing, false information or other misconduct.

We will look into the matter and try to respond with a reasonable solution. Complaints about an instructor, harassment or academic misconduct will be treated confidentially so far as reasonably possible.

We may suspend or terminate your account or course access if you:

Where reasonably possible, we may provide a warning before suspension. However, serious violations may result in immediate termination.

Upon termination, your right to use the platform ends immediately. A user whose access is terminated because of misconduct will not normally receive a refund.

You may stop using the website at any time, but stopping use does not create a right to a refund.

We aim to provide reliable services but cannot guarantee that the website or every course will always be available without interruption, delay or error.
