Research Methodology & Thesis Writing
Develop a clear research proposal, select an appropriate methodology, analyse evidence, and write a professional thesis or dissertation.
What you'll learn
Description
A strong thesis begins with a clear research problem, appropriate methodology, credible evidence, and a well-organised academic argument. This course provides practical, step-by-step guidance for planning and writing a research proposal, thesis, dissertation, or academic research report. Learners will explore how to identify a research gap, formulate research questions, develop objectives and hypotheses, review literature critically, choose a research design, select participants, collect and analyse data, and present findings professionally. The course is suitable for learners from different academic disciplines. It focuses on practical decisions that researchers must make rather than only discussing theoretical definitions. Participants will also learn academic referencing, research ethics, plagiarism prevention, and strategies for responding to supervisor feedback.
